Dr Michael is an experienced clinician of over 22 years.
He did his primary training in Nigeria where he worked in general practice for a while, then migrated to South Africa where he worked and started his family medicine training. He relocated to Australia in 2009 with his family and worked in Ipswich Hospital till 2011 after which he moved to Laidley where he had worked as a general practitioner and also a senior medical officer to Laidley Hospital.

He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of general practitioner and also a fellow of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.

He is involved in medical education through the supervision of registrars and teaching of medical students from University of Queensland during their rural placements. He is also a tutor for the Advanced Clinical Certificate in Dermoscopy with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.

 He is an empathic, dedicated and a patient centered practitioner that is committed to evidence based holistic and safe practice. He established Country Doctors Practice, GP and Skin Cancer Clinic in March 2018 with the aim of providing holistic care and improving health care service delivery in the Lockyer Valley area.

Dr Erandi Jayathilaka

Dr. Erandi Jayathilaka is an experienced medical professional with a broad background across multiple medical specialties. She graduated from medical school in Sri Lanka in 2017 and has since built a diverse portfolio of clinical experience, including work in Pediatrics', Adult Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Intensive Care, and Anesthesia.

In 2023, Dr. Erandi relocated to Australia, where she initially served at Rockhampton Base Hospital before transitioning into General Practice. Her extensive hospital experience allows her to approach patient care with depth and insight across all age groups and a wide range of health conditions.

Dr. Erandi has special interests are in women’s health, antenatal care, children’s health, mental health, preventive medicine, chronic disease management

Dr Thushari Attanayake

Dr Thushari is an experienced General Practitioner and a Medical officer. She worked as a trained medical officer in Anaesthesia/ICU for many years. She also has experience working in Children Hospital Emergency Service and Cardiothoracic Surgery.

She has a special interest in Women's health, Children's health, and Chronic Disease Management. She is a dedicated Doctor who always strive to serve the Community with a friendly and caring attitude.

Dr Ademola Afolabi (Ade)

Dr. Ademola is an experienced clinician who has worked in Australia and overseas. He completed his primary training (MBBS) in Nigeria where he worked as a Medical Officer before moving to Australia where he completed his Master of Public health and Master of Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Queensland. He later moved to Shepparton, Victoria, where he started work in the hospital as a Medical Officer. He was, most recently, a Rehabilitation Medicine Registrar at Goulburn valley health Shepparton.

He appreciates the impact of General Practice on the health system and community and enjoys the flexibility and wide range that General Practitioners cover. He has great inter-personal skills and prioritizes patients’ safety.

His interests include rehabilitation, post-operative re-conditioning, preventive healthcare, and multi-disciplinary approach to management. He has great experience with emergencies, chronic disease management, pediatrics, mental and indigenous health.

Outside work, Dr. Ademola is a dedicated family man, enjoys watching soccer, and practices mathematics in his spare time.
